Heavy snowfall throughout the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area has created adverse driving conditions Friday evening.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, in Dallas County, highways 141, 144, 169, 44, and 6, as well as Interstate 80 are all completely covered in snow. Highways 4 and 25 in Guthrie County are also completely covered, along with the highways and interstate that run through from Dallas. Greene County is slightly better off, with highways 144, 30, 25, 4, and 169 each partially covered with snow. Plows are currently out on all State highways in the listening area, and a winter weather advisory is active through 2 a.m. Saturday
