Sam Heffron of Van Meter was traveling south on Silverado Lane near the Napa Valley drive intersection when he swerved to miss hitting a deer and lost control going through the T-intersection and through the guard rail barrier. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $750.00 and $750.00 to the guard rail.

Damir Nuhanovic, age 36 of 4110 100th St., Urbandale was arrested on warrants for theft and unauthorized use of a credit card.

Ronald Richard Paglia, age 54 of 2105 Sycamore St., Granger was arrested on a warrant for violation of parole.

Leigh Richard Houghton, age 54 of 307 Story St., Sheldahl was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of possession of marijuana.
