Science fair competitions have been taking Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School students to distant locales like Phoenix, Arizona and Seattle, Washington, but the community can witness their achievements in research in Guthrie Center tomorrow night.
The third annual ACGC Science Fair Night will be taking place from 5-8 p.m. at the Guthrie Center High School. Students will have their projects on display in the junior high gym, and there will also be a spaghetti supper fundraiser and silent auction, with proceeds going to the science club. For president and senior Hailey Kintz, the club has been an outlet to pursue her passion for science and expand the interests for other students, “It’s kind of heartbreaking to have to wrap up my experience in science fair, but it’s also exciting because I love to hand down the torch, so to say, as the president of the science club and help other kids in their beginning of science fair.”
The public is encouraged to come support the science club while also cheering on the basketball teams, pep band, and dance team tomorrow night.
