The Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’ Basketball team is 6-0 on the season, and will be back on the court tomorrow in their first game of the new year hosting Boone.

Boone comes to Grimes winless, while DC-G is undefeated.  However, DC-G Head Coach, Joel Rankin, believes in his team’s philosophy of being “1-0.”  Take the season one game at a time.  Control the current game, and then move on to the next opponent.  It’s a mindset that his team has adopted by the DC-G Football program and Head Coach, Scott Heitland.

Rankin thinks his team has done a good job, so far, this season focusing on the task at hand, and not looking ahead or over looking the current opponent.

DC-G and Boone meet up on Friday in Grimes in a Boy/Girl Doubleheader.
