The West Central Valley Wildcats wrestling team has had a good season with a lot of different wrestlers putting together nice seasons thus far. One of the best so far for the team has been senior Weston Pote, who has put together a solid 10-2 record at the 138 pound level. Pote has recorded a fall in nearly every single victory that he has this year, and has done a great job of being aggressive while staying cautious and not letting his opponent beat him on any counter attacks.

Last year’s state qualifier Justin Garcia is off to another good start in his final go around in a Tigers outfit, as he has a 7-3 record at the 126 pound weight class.

The Wildcats ability to continue their solid starts as well as improve as a team will be key these next couple of months. So far though, the senior duo of Pote and Garcia have been off to a great start for the Wildcats.
