A special promotion is going on now at the Greene County Community Center.

Jefferson Parks and Recreation Assistant Director Nathan Kral says they are continuing their non-perishable food drive and he describes the details of the promotion.

“If you bring in a non-perishable food item you will get a free day pass to the rec center (in Jefferson), just being able to use the facility and that would be good all day. So as long as we’re open, your day pass would be good.”

Food donations will be accepted through January 5th, and all donations will then be given to the Greene County Action Resource Center (ARC) in Jefferson.
