8:36am: Webster County advised of a Careless Driver on Hwy. 4, heading south towards Jefferson. The vehicle reached Jefferson and the officer followed it. The officer witnessed the vehicle cross over the center line on two occasions and performed a Traffic Stop with the vehicle. The officer believed the driver was texting and driving and issued a Verbal Warning to the driver.

9:06am: An officer was called to 106 West Washington Street for a Backing Accident in the parking lot. Both parties exchanged information and advised they did not need a formal report from the officer.

12:52pm: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 404 East Harrison Street.

1:18pm: A caller advised of a burning smell in the apartment building located at 307 West Lincoln Way Street. The officer located a tenant, who had burnt something on the stovetop. No assistance was needed.

3:43pm: An officer checked on a vehicle with mechanical issues near 220th and Elm Streets.

4:09pm: Emily Hayes reported a Careless Driver on 220 th Street, heading east towards Jefferson. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.

6:31pm: The occupant of 507 West State Street requested an officer to check for subjects inside the residence before she made entry. The officer did not find anyone inside the residence.

7:18pm: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 102 East Clark Street.

8:11pm: The Dairy Queen, located at 507 North Elm Street, reported a caller advised of an order that was supposedly messed up by the restaurant. The caller advised they were coming back to the business to clear up the issue with the order. Dairy Queen had not filled such an order and felt it was a scam. The officer advised them to call if the subject showed up.

8:30pm: An officer is attempting to speak with a resident in the 600 Block of South Walnut concerning a vehicle parked on the shoulder for a few days.

10:26pm: Officers were requested at 507 West State Street for a subject in the basement. The officer did not locate anyone in the residence or sign they had been there.

11:23pm: Lance Dzuris reported an adult male had made an inappropriate statement to his juvenile daughter at 203 North Oak Street.
