An audit report recently released on Guthrie County Hospital shows a 12.1 percent revenue increase from last year.
The report completed by Gronewold, Bell, Kyhnn & Co. P.C. CPAs shows the hospital’s revenues totaled $19,097,200 for fiscal year 2019. This includes $14,607,000 in net patient revenue, $280,200 in other operating revenue, $1,860,10 from the county, $2.2 million in change in accounting estimate due to Medicare settlement on prior year cost reports and $149,900 in grants, contributions and investments income.
Expenses for the year decreased by .6 percent from the previous year, totaling $16,910,100, which included $3,278,200 for nursing services, $5,132,100 for other professional services, and $2,995,000 for fiscal and administrative services.
