It was one of the biggest matches of the season for the West Central Valley Wildcats wrestling team, as they competed in the West Central Activities Conference meet on Saturday, and had a couple of wrestlers that came away with outstanding individual results.
Weston Pote finished first in the 138 weight division, winning three matches on the day including a hard fought decisive decision in the championship round against Kitt Lundy of Pleasantville, as he was able to record a nice 13-3 major decision after recording two falls in his quarterfinal and semifinal matches.
Justin Garcia and Blaise Beane also put up very respectable decisions, as Garcia was the runner up in the 126 weight class division and Beane was 3rd in the 152 weight class. Both put up good numbers as West Central Valley as a team put on a solid finish in the West Central Activities Conference Meet.
