Jefferson and surrounding area residents are encouraged to help out a local animal organization this holiday season.
The Children’s Department of the Jefferson Public Library is hosting a People for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) of Greene County supply drive. During the month of December, certain items can be dropped off at the children’s department to help out PAWS. Items that are needed at this time include paper towels, trash bags, dish, hand and laundry soap; pet beds and blankets, treats, canned cat food, old towels and plastic grocery bags.
Residents are also encouraged to donate any spare change to the donation box in the children’s department. All items and monetary donations will be given to PAWS at the end of the month.
