A recent holiday promotion garnered lots of attention in downtown Jefferson.

The “Get Lit” event was held for one week, where people could get a bingo card filled out by participating businesses for a chance to win several gift cards and a grand prize of $100 of Jefferson Area Chamber Checks. Chamber Board President Ian Wilkinson says there were 16 gift certificate winners and Carly Rudolph was the $100 Chamber Check winner.

“It’s a young lady that her parents took her around downtown and got her bingo card filled out. She’s donating part of the money that she won to Home State Bank’s Season of Giving program for groceries. I think it was an amazing promotion and we couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.”

The “Get Lit” promotion took place from December 9th-15th.
