Guthrie County residents are advised to be aware of office closures during the upcoming holiday.

The Guthrie County Courthouse, Health Services Department, Transfer Station, and Guthrie County Extension office will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Panora City Hall will close at noon Tuesday and remain closed Wednesday and Thursday. Stuart City Hall will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, and Guthrie Center City Hall will be closed Wednesday. Garbage routes that may be regularly scheduled on Wednesdays in Guthrie Center and Panora will be pushed back one day. Stuart garbage routes will not be affected.

The Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center will close at 3 p.m. Tuesday and remain closed Wednesday. Both the Panora and Stuart public libraries will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Additionally, all post offices and most banks will be closed Wednesday.
