We’re in the final weekend before Christmas, and for anyone still needing to get some shopping done, the Perry Chamber of Commerce encourages them to shop local.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says there’s a wide assortment of gift offerings in Perry, which includes retail, food, and even service industries in the City. “Think outside the box and really consider doing business in Perry. And maybe that’s a better way to say that, instead of just shopping local or purchasing in Perry. It’s really about doing business in Perry, everyone is supporting each other in the community; think about all the donations and the giveaways and gift certificates that these businesses donate throughout the year for different auctions. It’s a nice chance to give back, especially around the holidays.”

Pasutti adds, a good way to support local business is to purchase Perry Bucks, which can be used at any member business at anytime, and also make good stocking stuffers.
