Today is the last day of school for 2019 in the Perry and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn school districts, as students will be on winter break for the next two weeks.

Both districts have 1 p.m. dismissal today, and then will be off until Thursday, January 2nd. During winter break, local law enforcement reminds motorists to be mindful of children walking around at times they wouldn’t typically expect if school were in session. That’s especially warranted with the mild weather expected over the next several days. The next extended vacation for Perry and ADM students will be spring break, which in both districts is March 13th through 22nd.

The last day of school for Perry is tentatively scheduled to be Thursday, May 28th, and ADM will dismiss for the year on Friday, May 29th, though the districts could extend those dates to accommodate any days missed due to weather.
