After a less than stellar performance on Tuesday for the Dallas Center-Grimes Girls’ Basketball team, Adam Jones’ squad looks to get back on track tonight at Grinnell.  DC-G is 5-2, while Grinnell is 4-2.

The Fillies dropped their game on Tuesday at Ballard 51-24.  DC-G’s scoring leader, Jordan Cunningham put up 16 points, but the rest of her team only contributed 8 points for the night.  DC-G shot poorly from the field, making only six field goals for the night.

The DC-G Boys’, however, remain unbeaten.  The 5-0 Mustangs will face a tough Grinnell team, who comes in tonight at 4-2.  DC-G has had outstanding play from Junior, Luke Rankin this season.  Rankin is putting up 20 points per game, along with 3 boards, 7 assists, and nearly 4 steals per contest.

Tonight’s Doubleheader in Grinnell between DC-G and Grinnell is set for a 6:15pm Girls’ tip off, with the Boys’ to follow.
