As the Christmas holiday approaches, there will be several offices and businesses closed in Jefferson.
The Jefferson City Hall will be closing at noon and the Greene County Community Center will close at 3pm on December 24th. Additionally, the Greene County Courthouse, Greene County Extension office, Jefferson Public Library and the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Welcome Center will be closed on Christmas Eve Day.
On Christmas Day, the Greene County Courthouse, Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Library, Greene County Extension office, Greene County Community Center, the welcome center and Jefferson Post Office will be closed in observance of the holiday.
Jefferson residents are reminded that next Wednesday’s garbage will be collected on Thursday. Library patrons are reminded that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.
