This is the final weekend that people can take advantage of some free entertainment that’s sure to give them some holiday cheer.
The Perry Grand 3 Theater’s “Merchant Movies” promotion is in its third and final week, and there will be a pair of films featured on this occasion. On Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m., the theater will be showing “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “The Grinch” on the big screen. In order to watch the films, attendees must acquire tickets. However, Perry Chamber of Commerce Director Lynsi Pasutti points out the tickets are free, you just have to know where to get them. “Tickets are available at a number of businesses, so you can call the Chamber to get that list. But otherwise a lot of them have the posters near the registers or things like that. So it’s a pretty cool thing to go see the movie for free just by stopping in the door and getting tickets at those businesses.”
The theater held showings of “A Christmas Story” and “The Polar Express” the last two weeks and they were happy with the turnout for both. For more information, including a list of participating businesses, click the link below to visit the theater’s Facebook page.
