The West Central Valley wrestling team had another competitive showing on Tuesday Night in a dual against South Central Calhoun, Audubon, and East Sac County, going 1-2 on the evening with the victory over Audubon. They won as a team over Audubon by the score of 63-18, while losing to South Central Calhoun 54-30 and to East Sac County 61-17.
Many of the victories over Audubon were because they didn’t have wrestlers at certain weight classes, but West Central Valley picked some wins from Weston Pote and Blaise Beane. Justin Garcia, Wesley Ganoe, Beane, and Pote all picked up a couple of more wins on the night vs. competition.
The Wildcats wrestlers will be back on the mat on Saturday when they compete in the West Central Activities Conference tournament.
