There are some new faces on the Perry Chamber of Commerce Executive Board.

At a recent meeting, the Board elected two new members to join their ranks, and re-elected a third. Cherie Welch, owner of Harper Rose’s Floral and Gifts, and Zack Cregeen with RE/MAX Concepts, Torres Team are first time Board members, while Dallas County Hospital Marketing and Foundation Manager Macinzie McFarland will serve her second three-year term. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti feels the Board is in a good place right now, and believes the three chosen to serve will represent the membership well. “There’s always going to be a natural turnover just with having terms, and individuals coming and going off of the Board. Having three years as a term is nice so that people can kind of get in and get a view of what’s going on and be a part of the growth. And so I think we’ve done a lot of great growth and intentional planning this last couple years, so we are just continuing that and planning ahead and hoping to continue the great work that we’ve done.”

Pasutti adds, the purpose of the Board is to give the Chamber direction, while it’s her job to present options and execute that direction.
