The Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Iowa will be on hand at La Poste in Perry tomorrow for a pair of meetings, and the public is invited to attend.

At 10 a.m., Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg will be in attendance for the Iowa Rural Development Council (IRDC) meeting. He will then be joined by Governor Kim Reynolds at 2 p.m. for a joint meeting between the IRDC and the Empower Rural Iowa Task Force. The community is welcome to both meetings to learn and ask questions about the State’s plans for addressing the need for growth in the rural areas of Iowa. Registration is not required to attend.
