Brandon Cole of Adel was traveling in the 28000 block of Highway 141 when he hit the shoulder and lost control and spun out in the ditch. The vehicle then collided and spun around on the guard rails in the median. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $7000.00 and $5000.00 to the bridge.

December 15, 2019
Amanda Christiansen of Waukee was traveling in the 28000 block of 141st St., when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $1000.00.

December 16, 2019
Steven Scott of Rippey was traveling in the 18000 block of 170th St., collecting garbage in a garbage truck when the front tire of the garbage truck went into the ditch. As he was trying to turn to get out the truck tipped over onto its side. EMS checked out Scott’s minor injuries. Damage to the truck estimated at $20000.00.

Justin Roy Gerlach, age 38 of 5225 Merced St., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of burglary 3rd.
