A Guthrie Center woman was cited for striking an unoccupied vehicle Saturday.
According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, at about 8:20 p.m. 56-year-old Claudette Pauline Harrison was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix southbound on 7th Street near Grand Street in Guthrie Center. She failed to maintain control and collided with a Subaru Legacy that was legally parked on the street. Road conditions were clear at the time of the collision. Harrison left the scene, and a deputy was notified the next morning of the incident. About $1,500 in damage was estimated to Harrison’s vehicle and approximately $5,000 was estimated for the Subaru.
