The AC/GC wrestling team made the trip to Oakland over the weekend.

Saturday the Chargers competed in the Riverside Wrestling Invitational. As a team, AC/GC earned 55 points which was good for 11th in a field of 16. Individually, they leaned on two familiar names. Seth Danker entered the tournament with a perfect record. He suffered his first lost of the season in a tough match in the semi-finals. He would bounce back and earn 3rd place in the 126 pound weight class. In the weight class above him, Gunnar Larsen followed an identical path to his 3rd place finish.

AC/GC will hit the mats again Tuesday when they host East Mills and Pleasantville for a triangular meet.
