New members were recently appointed to two Guthrie County Conservation foundations.
The Conservation Board appointed Anne Riordan and reappointed Doug Frels both to three-year terms on the Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation Board. They join other members Maggie Armstrong, Barry Chalfant, and Ryan Steenblock. The Board also reappointed Nancy Smith to a three-year term on the Guthrie County Historical Village Foundation Board, which also includes Alex Krueger, Steve Kroeger, Doug Long, and Rod Stanley.
Both foundations are non-profit corporations whose purpose is to accept gifts from individuals or organizations for the development and enhancement of environmental, educational, and other conservation projects within the County, and for development and enhancement of the historical village, respectively. If you would like more information on these groups or wish to donate a gift, call 641-755-3061 or email gccb@netins.net.
