The West Central Valley Wildcats basketball team hosted a non-conference game against the Perry Bluejays on Thursday night, and were unable to come away with the victory falling by the score of 70-48. Perry took the lead immediately out of the gate, jumping out to a 22 point halftime lead and never looking back.

WCV shot below 30% from the field, as they did a good job of rebounding the ball with 41 rebounds, but were just unable to hit enough shots. Senior Jake Egger put together another fantastic game with 20 points and 16 rebounds, and senior Spencer Lamb added 8 points and 5 rebounds.

The Lady Wildcats also fell to Perry by the score of 58-45, picking up their first loss of the season against an improved team out of the Jayettes.

The Wildcats and Lady Wildcats will be back on the court tonight when they travel to Woodward Granger hoping to pick up some wins.
