
Guthrie County’s upperclassmen will be performing in winter concerts next week.
The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center and Panorama high schools each have their concerts on Monday, December 16th. ACGC’s begins at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium and will feature the concert choir directed by Kelsey Moran and the hand chimes choir and concert band directed by Kyra Babcock. Songs will include “Carol of the Bells,” “African Holy Night,” “Greensleeves,” and “Celtic Holy Night.”
Panorama’s concert begins at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium and features the concert band and choir, directed by Jim Bauch and Chris Helm. The performances will include “A Perfect Christmas Night,” “Believe,” “Glow,” and “A Bell Carol.” Then on Thursday, December 19th will be West Central Valley High School’s winter concert at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Directed by Michael Gookin and Josh Kassmeyer, the choir and band will be performing selections including “Christmas Bells Are Ringing,” “O Magnum Mysterium,” “Gloria,” and “Bring Me Little Water, Silvy.” All concerts are free to attend, with a freewill donation accepted at ACGC.
