A Grand Junction man was recently sentenced for a 2018 incident.

According to court documents, 54-year-old Martin Tolsdorf pled guilty to a Class D Felony for his third or subsequent offense for possession of marijuana and a serious misdemeanor for unlawful possession of prescription drugs. He had his five year prison sentence for the felony charge suspended and was placed on probation for three years with the Department of Corrections. Additionally, Tolsdorf had all but 12 days of his one year jail sentence suspended and was placed on two years of probation for the misdemeanor charge.

The charges stem from executed search warrants of Tolsdorf’s home on February 7th, when law enforcement found suspected drug items. Tolsdorf was ordered to pay over $1,200 in fines and surcharges. Other charges such as conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a felon were dismissed.
