It’s been since last Saturday when the Dallas Center-Grimes Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball teams last took to the floor.

The DC-G Boys’ are 3-0, while the DC-G Girls’ are 4-1.  The Fillies suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday in Urbandale when DC-G faced off against Des Moines Christian.

The Oskaloosa Girls’ team is just 1-4 on the season, with their lone win coming over Centerville in the season opener, 61-58.  Adam Jones looks for his girls to right the ship tonight.  DC-G Girls’ Basketball is lead by Senior, Jordan Cunningham who is averaging over 17 points per contest.

Tonight will be toughest test of the season, so far, for the Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’.  Joel Rankin’s 3-0 Mustangs are preparing for the Oskaloosa Indians, who are lead by 5-Star, Iowa State Commit, Xavier Foster.  Foster is putting up almost 21 points per game for Osky, along with Noah Van Veldhuizen who is averaging over 17 points per night.  Oskaloosa is 2-1 on the season, with their one loss coming on the road at Grinnell.

DC-G is lead in scoring by Cole Glasgow with 22 points per game, with Luke Rankin adding 17.

Action is set for tonight, with the girls taking the floor at 6:15pm, and the boys to follow at 7:45pm in Grimes.
