Steven Kennedy of Boone was traveling in the 13500 block of R Ave., when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $4000.00.

Thomas Harvey of Belmond was traveling south in the 34000 block of Ute Ave., when a vehicle approached him from the opposite direction on the curve and crossed the center lien side swiping Harvey’s vehicle. The vehicle then fled the scene. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00.

Jared Manning of Granger was traveling east on W 4th St., when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Kaden Seeman of Granger who had pulled out of the Woodward Granger High School parking lot onto W 4th St. No injuries reported. Damage to Seeman’s vehicle estimated at $2000.00 and $1500.00 to Manning’s.

Jennifer Lauer of Perry was parked on the property at the Perry High School parking lot when the vehicle next to her driven by Marvin Lopez of Perry pulled away from its parking spot catching the door on Lauer’s vehicle. No injuries reported. Damage to Lauer’s vehicle estimated at $1000.00 and $499.00 to Lopez’s.

Manuel Castellanos of Perry was traveling east on 150th St., when his tire blew out causing him to lose control and entered the ditch then rolling over onto it’s roof. The driver suffered minor injuries and treated at the Dallas County Hospital. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00.

William Bruce Telleen, age 45 of 3941 Cambridge St., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charges of theft and burglary.

Kaijuan Avonte Curtis, age 20 of 780 SE Jonas Circle, Waukee was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of burglary.

Kayden Allen Nelson, age 18 of 102 S Grimmell Rd., Jefferson was arrested on a warrant for criminal mischief and operate a vehicle without owner’s consent.
