The Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary has been busy this holiday season.

Auxiliary Liaison Nancy Houska tells Raccoon Valley Radio about $3,000 was raised during the Holiday of Lights fundraiser. There were over 40 silent auction items to bid on. The items were donated by the different departments at the medical center, along with other organizations and individuals.

Another annual fundraiser is happening tomorrow. The Holiday Candy Sale starts at 7am in the main lobby and clinic lobby of the medical center. There will be various homemade holiday candies and snacks available for purchase. It will be on a first come, first served basis.

The proceeds from both fundraisers go back to the Auxiliary for equipment purchases for the hospital.
