After starting the high school girls’ basketball season with three losses in as many games last week and averaging less than 23 points per game, things look even tougher this week for the Greene County girls. A road trip to Gilbert tonight will be followed by a road game at Alleman on Friday night vs. North Polk. NP nipped Gilbert 62-61 last Friday in Alleman. The Tigers are 3-2 overall while NP returns its best two players from last season’s State Tournament runner-up finish in Class 3A.

The Rams are led in scoring by Izzy Bravard. The 5′ 4″ senior guard is averaging nine points per game, some 39% of the total points scored last week by Greene County.

Coverage on KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio tonight starts at 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow.
