On Saturday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Wrestling team hosted the Mustang Invitational in Grimes.

The Mustangs had top-3 finishes in eight of eleven weight classes in competition, with one champion at the end of Saturday’s festivities.  In the 160 pound weight class, Fister brought home the bragging rights for the Mustangs, as the lone DC-G Wrestler to win in the home invite.

DC-G Wrestling is off until Thursday when the Mustangs welcome Indianola to town with action scheduled to begin at 6:30pm.  Thursday’s dual will be the final time for DC-G to be on the mat at home before the Christmas break.
