Both AC/GC basketball teams will hit the road tonight in a double-header.

AC/GC will make the trip to Des Moines Christian to face off against a familiar foe. Neither team had much success in this matchup a season ago. The girl’s lost 67-37, and the boys lost 79-63. The girl’s team comes in 1-1 coming off a dominant win over Madrid Friday night. Alaina Bunde and Kennedy Young lead the way in scoring each averaging 13 points per game. Young also leads the team with 15 rebounds, with Bunde not far behind with 12.

The boys are still looking for their first win after falling to Madrid in their season debut. They will lean heavily on seniors Bryce Littler, who scored 26 points Friday, and Quynton Younker who earned a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
