Both Panorama basketball teams will hit the court tonight for a double header.
The Panthers will be in action as they hit the road to square off against Pleasantville. This will be the third straight road game since their season debut Friday. The boys found success in two close games over the weekend. Panorama beat Woodward-Granger Friday night to start off the season in the win column. The Panthers spoiled a good comeback effort and took home the victory 59-57. Panorama kept it rolling Saturday when they mounted a comeback of their own beating IKM-Manning 48-45. Zach Rizuti led the way in scoring averaging 17 points in the two games. The junior also racked up a team-high 16 rebounds over the weekend.
The girl’s team found themselves on the other end of a close matchup Friday as they fell to Woodward-Granger 41-40. The Panthers couldn’t find a way to rebound Saturday and fell to IKM-Manning 78-57. Panorama was led by Payton Beckman who averaged just over 18 points in the two games. The Panthers also saw a breakout performance from sophomore Laci Rishel who had 15 points versus IKM-Manning.
