You don’t need to travel to the North Pole to see Blitzen or his comrades as Main Street Guthrie Center and the Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce hosts their annual Reindeer Express.

From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today families can pick up a reindeer card at one of several downtown businesses. While the local shops feature specials and refreshments, kids and adults must find at least six reindeer, and then return their card to the Cabbage Rose restaurant to be entered to win one of several adult and kid prizes. There will also be lots of kids events, including cookie decorating at Cabbage Rose, crafts at the Guthrie County Extension office, and live reindeer at the Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library.
