The West Central Valley Lady Wildcats basketball team is playing some good basketball to begin their year as they are off to a 2-0 start after a healthy 54-39 over Odgen. West Central Valley was able to play at their own pace and force their opponent into tough situations. They also executed well offensively and made plays down the stretch to get the victory.
The West Central Valley Boys were unable to find any traction against a solid Ogden opponent before losing by the score of 72-31. Ogden led after the first quarter by the score of 24-5 and never looked back. Senior Jake Egger put up another excellent game with 17 points and 17 rebounds.
Both teams will be back on the hardwood on Tuesday when they take on Interstate 35.
