Last night, Dallas Center-Grimes played host to Newton in a Boy/Girl Basketball Doubleheader in Grimes.

The DC-G Girls’ improved to 4-0 with a 61-33 rout of the Cardinals.  Adam Jones’ team will now look to Des Moines Christian tonight, as the Fillies play back-to-back games for the first time this season.  DC-G will travel just a few miles south to Urbandale to face the Lions at 6:00pm.  DMC comes in a 3-1 on the year, with a win last night over Earlham 55-34.

On the Boys’ side of things, DC-G moved to 2-0 with a 61-56 win over Newton on Friday.  Cole Glasgow led the Mustangs with 21 points, and Luke Rankin added 17 along with 7 assists, as well.  The DC-G Boys’ will also face Des Moines Christian tonight in Urbandale.  The Lions are coming off of a win last night over Earlham, 72-46.  Tonight’s Boys’ game is set for a 7:30pm tip off.
