The ADM Tigers and Lady Tigers basketball teams took the court on Friday night against Ballard and both were unfortunately unable to come up with the victory, though both games were lost in different fashion. The ADM girls lost by the score of 63-26 and overall were unable to find any room against an excellent Ballard girls team.

ADM lead after the first quarter of play at 12-10, but Ballard outscored them in the second quarter by the number of 18-2. ADM only had 14 points in their final three quarters. The offensive output is the lowest of the year, but ADM is still 3-1 on the year.

The ADM boys lost a tough one on Friday Night by the score of 76-73 in a game that had them lead a good amount of the game. The Tigers had an explosive first half with 44 points but were unable to match the output in the second half. Jaxson millsap put up another solid game with 25 points and Nate Mueller added 19. Ballard was led by four players in double figures, led by Connor Drew’s 18 points. ADM is now 0-2 on the season with their losses by a combined 5 points.

Both teams will go back to the drawing board this week before a big game at home next Friday against rival Winterset.
