Kids and adults can find gifts for the holiday season and meet Santa Claus during Redfield’s annual Winterfest tomorrow.

Festivities begin at the West Central Valley Middle School gymnasium with craft vendors, a cookie walk, silent auction, “Kids Shop for Free Store,” and food served all day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Everyone will want to save some of their appetite for the annual chili cook-off at the American Legion. Participants can drop off their concoctions at 3:30 p.m. and judging for the categories of traditional, hot, and unique will begin at 4, with cash prizes and trophies to be awarded. The entries will then be served along with homemade desserts at 5 p.m. Attendees can also place their bids on a silent auction until 6:45 p.m. A freewill donation will be accepted with proceeds going toward the Redfield Development Corporation.
