Tomorrow is the private pesticide applicator training in Jefferson.
Greene County Extension is hosting the two-hour workshop at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds, starting at 1pm. Extension 4-H and Youth Coordinator Kayla Willms describes the topics that will be covered.
“This will fulfill your 2019 re-certification requirements for private pesticide applicator training. Topics that will be covered will be safe handling and storage of pesticides, laws and regulations, personal protective equipment and pests, pest management and pesticides.”
ISU Extension Field Agronomist Mike Witt will lead the class and the cost for the training is $20. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. Call the Extension Office at 515-386-2138 with any questions or to sign up.
