Guthrie County and surrounding residents can see how the more festive side lives at a Holiday Home Tour this Sunday.
The Women for Panora’s Future (WFPF) hosts this annual event which will feature five new participating homes in the Panora and Lake Panorama area. WFPF President Tammy Deal shares how they find interested homeowners, “This is a fundraiser for WFPF. The majority of the proceeds from this fundraiser are used to provide scholarships to Panorama High School seniors each spring. And many of the people who are willing to open their homes and be on the tour are people that want to support that particular community service project that we do of providing scholarships to high school seniors.”
The tour will last from 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance from any WFPF member and at the Panora Public Library, Guthrie County State Bank, Iowa Trust & Savings Bank, or Panora United Methodist Church. You can also buy tickets at the church Sunday, enjoy refreshments, and register for holiday prize raffles.
