Those interested in the Main Street Iowa program are invited to attend a Lunch and Learn event hosted by the Stuart Chamber of Commerce.

Main Street Iowa Coordinator Michael Wagler will present on the program which works with communities committed to exceptionally high standards for downtown economic development. He will discuss how communities use the “Main Street Approach” to capitalize on the unique identity, assets, and character of their historic commercial districts. Business leaders and other Stuart residents are encouraged to attend and see if Stuart would be a good candidate for becoming a Main Street community.

The Lunch and Learn will be held from noon-1 p.m. at the Country Kitchen. Lunch is free for Chamber members and $5 for non-members. To RSVP by this Friday, email stuartchamber@aol.com.
