The Perry girls defeated Greene County 81-38 in a continuous clock second half Tuesday night from Jefferson.  Perry relied on an up tempo style to wear down the Rams late in the first half and early in the third quarter.  Molly Lutmer paved the way for Perry with a game high 27 points.  The senior buried three more 3-pointers giving her 12 3’s on the season.  Jayna Kenney provided the muscle inside with 13 points and 8 rebounds with six of her points coming off of offensive rebounds.  Hannah Peterson added 12 and Lydia Olejniczak finished with 12 including 10 points in the third quarter after sitting a good portion of the first half in foul trouble.

The Jayettes used an aggressive half court zone defense to force over 20 Ram turnovers on the night.  Perry improves to 2-1 and will begin a difficult trip through the Raccoon River Conference when they host Carroll Friday night.
