A Stuart man has been arrested in Adair County for allegedly violating his probation for a controlled substance and theft conviction.
According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Joseph Lee Reynolds was arrested on November 26th for an April 17th probation violation. Reynolds was sentenced on April 5th to one year of probation for third degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana second offense, a serious misdemeanor for an incident that occurred on October 23, 2018. He was originally charged with possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, a class D felony; as well as trafficking stolen weapons first offense, a class D felony, which was dismissed in court. Reynolds is being held in the Adair County Jail on a $2,000 cash-only bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
