It’s been nine months since the Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’ Basketball team has played an official game that gets counted on the record.  After the 8-14 campaign a year ago, DC-G Head Coach, Joel Rankin has much higher aspirations for his Mustangs in the 2019-2020 season.

DC-G will return their two leading scorers from a year ago, Luke Rankin and Cole Glasgow who put up an average of 25 points, combined, last season.

Last Tuesday, DC-G played their annual “exhibition” Hall of Pride game versus Bondurant-Farrar.  The Mustangs handled the Bluejays easily, 68-46 in Grimes.

Tonight, Dallas Center-Grimes opens the season, officially, at home against Carlisle.  Tonight’s festivities will be the first Girl/Boy Doubleheader of the young season.  The DC-G Girls’ will tip off at 6:15pm, while the Boys’ will take the court at 7:45pm.
