The Perry High School Music Department is in the midst of their annual Band and Choir Fruit Fundraiser, and the community is invited to get some healthy treats and support a good cause.
The promotion includes a variety of fruits, such as apples, oranges, pears, and grapefruit, and various combinations. The money raised will go towards music department needs, such as sheet music, piano tuning, and accompanist fees, as well as helping to fund the next school trip in 2022. Vocal Music Director Jenn Nelson says it’s the District’s goal for every student to be able to travel, regardless of their family’s financial situation, and the fruit fundraiser goes along way towards ensuring that.
