As the holiday shopping season is here, one way to support local businesses is by participating in tomorrow’s Small Business Saturday.

Greene County Chamber and Tourism Office Coordinator Beth VanderWilt encourages everyone to stop into several Greene County-area businesses tomorrow and check out their holiday specials.

“I know the retail business owners have created a slogan, ‘Get Lit in Jefferson.’ I think they are really ramping it up for the local people in our area.”

Additionally, the Jefferson Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #9599 is hosting a craft show at the Greene County Fairgrounds tomorrow from 10am-4pm as an extra opportunity to find unique holiday and winter items.
