The annual fundraiser for Greene County Habitat for Humanity is happening next weekend.

The Nativity Festival will take place on Sunday, December 8th at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. Activities include collectible nativity scenes on display from 3-4pm, a community concert featuring local musicians from 4-5:15pm in the sanctuary and a soup supper and pie auction in the fellowship hall to wrap up the event.

Individuals who would like to display a nativity scene can contact Jill Lamoureux at 515-370-4785. The displays will be set up from 12:30-2pm that day. Some nativity scenes will be included in a silent auction during the event.

Free-will offerings will be accepted during the concert and soup supper. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go back to Greene County Habitat for Humanity for housing projects.
