The Perry Booster Club is once again hosting their holiday-themed fun run, with the annual Tinsel Trot 5K happening tomorrow morning.
For the second year, the run will take place during Small Business Saturday. Perry Chamber of Commerce Director Lynsi Pasutti says it’s great to have so many things altogether this weekend to get people into the holiday spirit, and adds that the Chamber is happy to partner with one of their members to promote such an event. “So with the Tinsel Trot, it’s a fundraiser for the Booster Club, of course, as the hosts. So that will all get started at Raccoon Valley Bank Plaza, (you’ll) run around town, and then get out to shopping. So it should be just a fun time, (so) bundle up and take part in some of the activities that we have going on!”
Registration forms are still available at Raccoon Valley Bank, the Chamber Office, and Snap Fitness. You can also register tomorrow morning starting at 10 a.m., with the race scheduled to start at 10:30. The Booster Club reminds participants that costumes are encouraged, and prizes will be awarded for the best outfit.
