The Dallas County Board of Supervisors convened Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting began with approval of payroll change notices, which included accepting the resignation of Human Resources Coordinator Donna Wolk, and the retirement of Bryan DeJong, the Assistant to the County Engineer. Next, the Board set December 10th at 9:30 a.m. as the time and date for a public hearing regarding the vacation of excess right-of-way on County Road F31. That was followed by approval of tax credit applications for disabled veteran homestead, homestead military, and family farm credits.
Next, the Board approved a resolution for utility valuations, as well as the appointments of Marilyn Gliem and Brad Long to the Board of Adjustment. The Supervisors then discussed the Emergency Management Department, giving consensus for staffing and computer purchases for the Emergency Operations Center. They also tabled action on a 28E agreement for Emergency Medical Services and fire mutual assistance. The meeting concluded with a closed session to discuss pending litigation.
